Cathie, the fact that you feel spiritually anchored in East Tennessee is so synchronistic for me!!! I'm currently in northern Michigan, but for the past few years I've been told things await me in East Tennessee, and that it will be my family's next destination.
This is fascinating, Samantha — thanks so much for sharing. Interesting that I have past connections with Michigan as well. The degree I mention in the article was from the College of Agriculture at Michigan State. My family was living in Grand Rapids at the time. Also: there was a time in my life when I said it would take an act of God to get me to move back east across the Mississippi again. And here I am, lol! Source has a great sense of humor. :-)
I find myself miraculously carried from one place to another throughout my life as well, with supernatural doorways presenting themselves when the time is right. MSU is the only university I've ever felt a connection to. I'm very excited to learn more about your story and why you feel such a deep spiritual connection to East Tennessee. I visited the website you linked to find your book, The Holler, but I don't see it listed on that page. Will it be up soon?
The website I linked was for the Angels and Man book. The Holler is not yet written. I will actually share it on Substack as I write it. The piece I posted today is the preface. I’m not sure how fast this will go, but thanks for your interest in the story! I’m sure that will help me to keep moving forward with it. My exchange of messages with you about this inspires me to reflect deeply on writing as co-creation with the field in real time, and what the possibilities are to incorporate this into the process.

The other site I linked in the first paragraph was for Jane Evershed’s Substack. Her work has been very inspiring and informative and has helped me connect the dots between pieces of insight I have received from my own Soul and I AM Presence and others in relation to The Holler.
